It shows the research results of National Academy of Economic Strategy, CASS and Dr.sun yat-sen Institute. The research reveals China’s Greater Bay Area ranks 3rd after San Francisco and New York Bay Area. Tokyo Bay Area ranks 4th. Macau ranks 12th among the major city influence index in the Bay Area. According to the report, the economic influence of the China’s Greater Bay Area tops the list of the four and its innovation influence ranks second. The achievements in economic development and facility construction in the Bay Area mainly benefits from not only the vigorous growth and innovational energy but also the spotlight effect of China’s political strategies. Differentiation of Promoting Cultural & Creative Industry and Tourism When it comes to the influence of cultural tourism, central cities in the Bay Area shall play the leading role and attach more importance to the cultural innovation ecology, which can promote the differential development of the tourism industry and strengthen the interaction and cooperation among the cities in the Bay Area. Moreover, it is helpful for the joint marketing and joint promotion for tourism brands in the Bay Area. In the future, it will be better to optimize China’s Greater Bay Area living planning. It requires furthering improving the public service facilities and emphasizes ecological environment protection so that the cultural deposits would be improved accordingly. The report pointed out that in future it shall vigorously enhance the overall level with a global vision. That is, to establish cooperative development mechanism by applying system innovation as a breakthrough. The Bay Area should accelerate the progress of high-end elements concentration and plan modern industry system in strategic and long-term perspectives. In addition, the results of the Bay Area Major Cities Impact Index indicate that the fourteen cities rank in turn are New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong, San Francisco, Shenzhen, San Jose, Guangzhou, Newark, Yokohama, Auckland, New Haven, Macau, Kawasaki and Bridgeport. The report shows the average urban influence index of the four major cities in China’s Great Bay Area is at 0.444, ranking first among the four Bay Areas in the world. The result signifies that Hong Kong, Macau, Guangzhou and Shenzhen are forming strong central city influence effect in the Bay Area. |
