CHINA DESK - YOUR GATEWAY TO CHINA

  pa1gr1.jpg (77464 bytes)

Established in late 1998 in view of the world trade and economic trends, China Desk is a specialised arm of WTC Macau that offers brokerage consultancy and other related services to WTCs worldwide members, as well as non-member businesses, wishing to explore trade and/or investment opportunities in neighbouring China.

In order to exercise the main function which is acting as a bridge between China and the rest of the world, a China Desk (electronic) Supplement was launched in mid-February 1999. A supplement of the WTC Macau Quarterly Newsletter, the China Desk Supplement (CDS) is a monthly publication that is sent via e-mail to all WTCs and selected business entities for distribution to their local members, which means that worldwide readership may top 500,000. WTC Macau members who have provided us with their e-mail addresses will already have received their copy of the supplement.

The CDS, as its name entails, specifically promotes and disseminates information on investments and major trade opportunities in China. In its first issues, CDS has highlighted over 50 investment projects including harbour and road construction projects, opportunities in the areas of floriculture and horticulture, as well as in food processing, etc..

For further information or assistance in matters relating to the China market or concerning this publication, please do not hesitate to contact the China Desk at telephone (853) 727666, fax (853) 727661 or e-mail wtcmc@macau.ctm.net.

For local members and anyone wishing to receive monthly issues of the electronically distributed CDS, just call the Marketing Department, inform us of your e-mail address and your copy of this valuable publication will be on its way to your mailbox.
