In view of the cessation of the Textile and Apparel Quota restrictions in 2005 and the increased concern and uncertainty of its aftermath, with the support of the Macao Foundation, World Trade Center Macau has the pleasure to present to you a seminar entitled 2005 Textile and Apparel Issues : A U.S. Perspective .
Scheduled for 3pm on 27 August in the Lotus Room, Attorney Of Counsel, Dr Peter Koenig, will share his views and knowledge on the theme, taking on the U.S. point-of-view. Dr Koenig of Washington DC-based Miller & Chevalier Chartered, a law firm that includes former top officials from all the U.S. Government agencies involved in US trade investigations, is a practicing attorney with a PhD in Economics who counts with International Trade Litigation, and Trade Policy and Disputes as his areas of expertise. In addition, he was a member of an advisory group of the U.S. Congress on appropriate U.S. trade laws and has published papers and has delivered speeches on the subject of our seminar’s title as well as on anti-dumping and other trade related issues. For your information, Simultaneous Interpretation to Cantonese will be provided throughout the seminar.
