With
China's accession to the WTO, Macau's total export and import value
will be increasing. To cope with the future development of Macau's
transportation industry, the Macau SAR is planning to build a logistics
center. As a result, logistics management will then be an essential
industry in Macau. To help members and local business community
to gain more knowledge on the logistics development in Hong Kong,
WTC Macau, IBM China/Hong Kong Limited and Macau Institute of Management
are going to organize a study visit to two Hong Kong logistics centers
on May 3, 2002.
